Mind Body Soul
These were the themes for Floriade 2009. The opportunity to create a space without a brief, functional or aesthetic boundaries was both exciting and nerve wracking. Without the gentle guidance of a brief, only steered by the whimsical fantasies locked in my mind the design process was to prove challenging. The result was the birth of an overscaled 'personal' space that could tender to the three themes. I named it 'Fantasy for the Mind, Food for the Body, and Freedom for the Soul'.
